I am Data Scientist with a background in Neuroscience. Currently I am deepening my knowledge in machine learning and data analysis at the University of Barcelona. I am particularly interested in Natural Language Processing.
Previously, I was a researcher at the University of Vienna, in the Zimmer Lab. For my research I was interested in understanding the interaction of neuronal activity and behaviour, using C. elegans as a model organism. For that I did whole brain freely moving recordings of worms performing different behaviours. To read more about my research click here.
Before that, I did my PhD with Stephan Sigrist at the Freie Universität of Berlin, with an IMPRS fellowship from the Max Planck of Colloids and Interfaces in Potsdam, where I had Reinhard Lipowsky as a co-supervisor.
Before that, I studied human biology at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in my hometown, Barcelona.
